The Essentiality of the Necessary Occulted Presence of the Master of the Affair (AJ)

This article elucidates the concept of the occultation (Ghaybah) of the Twelfth Imam (AS – Alayhis Salam) and the role of the people in it. Hezbollah initially refers to a saying from the Imam (AS) who describes benefiting from the Imam’s existence during the occultation as similar to benefiting from the sun when it is hidden behind clouds. This means that the Imam (AS) naturally continues to radiate light, but the sins and negligence of the people prevent them from seeing that light.

The article then refers to the views of Sheikh Tusi and Khwaja Nasir al-Din Tusi, who attribute the Imam’s (AS) occultation to various factors, including the people’s lack of readiness to accept the Imam’s (AS) rule and the fear of the destruction of truth. Furthermore, Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA – Salamullah Alayha) also spoke of the Imam’s (AS) occultation and its reason in her sayings, indicating that the Imam (AS) is like the Ka’bah, towards whom people must go, not he towards them. Finally, the article emphasizes that the only way for humanity to achieve worldly and otherworldly felicity is to return to God and follow the Ahlul Bayt (AS – the People of the House).
