The most prominent of these foundations is the application of purely economic thinking to education, which reduces schools to “economic enterprises,” students to “products,” and parents to “consumers,” promoting privatization and profit-centrism (like the example of handing over Hartford schools to a private company). Another flawed foundation is the unconditional freedom of sexual relations in co-educational environments, which, according to Hezbollah, has led to problems such as homosexuality, avoidance of marriage, drug use, and mental illnesses. It also points to the dominance of atheistic intellectualism or distorted church influence, and gender discrimination against girls.
